About Us
Why You Should Fish with Miss Banx
Join us on the Miss Banx. You will be fishing with the only female Captain in the fleet! We will target Redfish, Bluefish, Black Seabass, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Flounder, Amberjack, and more depending on conditions. Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! And you can't go wrong with bringing snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Capt. Taylor operates a 32' Topaz with space for six passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a large restroom on board for your convenience.
Captain Taylor
Taylor started her fishing career at a young age. She grew up fishing on the Cashie River. Her first mating job was on the Miss Oregon Inlet Headboat in 2019. She loved teaching all the kiddos how to fish. Taylor achieved her Captain's license in 2022. She has been sportfishing since she was a young child. She caught her first sailfish when she was 8 years old. She is pumped up about being on the "Miss Banx" and can not wait to take you fishing.
How The Boat Got The Name
The "Miss Banx" is named after Captain Taylor's dog, "Banx"!
Banx is a four-year-old Dalmatian who does about everything with Taylor. They are the best of friends; sometimes Taylor forgets Banx is a dog as much as she talks to her. Banx would love to join you on your fishing trip, but sadly, she has not mastered her sea legs. Hopefully, in the future, the sweet girl will be able to tag along as a second mate!
About the Boat
Miss Banx is a 32' Topaz powered by twin 375HP CAT engines. She underwent a complete remake at Ritchie Howell Yachts in 2020. She got new paint, electronics, soft goods, and mezzanine seating. She is rigged with the latest in modern tackle, stereo, and an enclosed spacious head. Everything you need for a great day of fishing on the Outer "Banx".
